  • A problem I see with Writeboard is that there's no option to make it publically readable. You need a password to access the Writeboard, which also allows you to edit.

Another concern I have is it seems to only support "big long document" mode. That could be inconvenient.

You could use blogware, if you don't want to infiltrate a board (jazz people are *very* serious) It would look like this.
  • lol - that is neat, tim.

shall we go for both??? i think 1 could feed the other at the very least - and some folks may let it loose in one forum v. the other.

my guess is that the keyed entry would either serve as 1) a test lab or 2) finishing school - the public forum can never be anything other than "splatter theatre".

now - that sentence above could be turned into a play...project 2.
  • How about as a dedication...

"Being for the benefit of MrCat"
  • Just put a slew of the Don Pedro posts up, plus the 68 death scene.
  • bennie for mrcat is most appropriate...the hunt for a respectful + representative image is on!

@tim - are the posts from no feed troll available???
  • This is as much as I've got. If you want yours slotted in, let me know.
  • @tim - absolutely!! - the burden of archiving v. therapy of order > you decide...let me know if you need anything that might be missing.
  • I'd love to be able to actually read it - I caught on too late - then got side-tracked into Deirdre and Helen threads, then it was gone.
  • lol! i must say, you cannot abscond with the old chinese watchwoman...she definitely does something later in the story.

helen is good to have as background as i'm going to incorporate her in part to the material i'm running thru in "diversions". deirdre...that was out of frustration from seeing the u.s. version of godzilla. the best thing that came of that was the two-headed dr. reid + deirdre wrestling over the nameplate...and if you want to really read something old and gibberishy i'll send along the eglan st. germaine piece...the folks who "anagrammed" his name were so wild + unexpected that it forever gave me an appreciation for that device...used sparingly, it has its merits.
  • I now have the DNFtT thread up here. Blogger wasn't flexible enough, so I opened an account with WordPress. You'll find all of 68's posts, plus mine, and summaries of what others have said. It ends with the first Don Pedro post - whatever came after that has been lost, for that's all I was able to dredge up from the net.
  • let me see what i saved...i think there is going to be a gulf as i didn't back-up at the pace i should have. stay tuned.
  • just received word , thanks.

on a separate, quite alarming note, it appears that someone or something has dingoed CD Baby.
  • i x'd into it - it appears the downage is selfinflicted, selfrisingmojo...scheduled maintenance.

great to have you here. we still need to gather up bluesboy...anything you can do will be appreciated.

there's another thread under the category "diversions" that is getting a shell...we'll see where it goes...

    join in!
  • OK, I've been gathered. Wondering if you were really looking for Big-D, but what they heck, I'm game. I like xmas music and love to bash against the pure cultural crassness attached to a religious holiday.
