I'm done
I've decided that I'm done with the eMu boards. I'm bored with the drivel going on and just want to purge myself of that annoyance. So anything that I feel would be useful to eMu members will be posted over here instead. I'm actually going back and deleting some of my messages over there, too. Because purging is also about being petty...

bravo!!!
let me just say, i'm getting my ass n00ked off a jazzboard for no reason...of course i have no business being there, but still the same, who the hell n00ks someone for a get-well wish to jim dickinson??? i've seen it all, i can die a happy man.
purge, n00k...the door swings both ways.
One thing of note: Wanderer, the voice of the new eMusic. If that doesn't make you want to stay away, I don't know what does.
I got another year and 11 months of that crap over there to put up with. I have no intention of posting on that board any more - I just lurk for the recs but it's really wearing out my scroll wheel to get to them.
Oh well... I think my SFL is probably long enough to last me to the end without having to add any more recs but for some odd reason my taste in music has abruptly changed within the past couple weeks.
I seem to have developed a fondness for albums with few tracks that haven't been capped yet. It's a pretty eclectic mix of avante-garde, ambient and classical so far. But at the same time, I'm also drawn to albums with a lot of tracks that have been capped. Funny how tastes change over time. Especially when your reward/incentive equation has been dramatically fucked with...
And while I don't want this to turn into another Wanderer thread (because there's more than one jackass at this point), his insistence on becoming "the voice" of eMusic by posting in every thread he can was one of the final 2 nails for me.
JUJ's Simon Said thread is a thread for recs of all sorts. In case you haven't noticed, he made you the King for July.
Hey, does this board have smilies?
remind me to never infringe upon your twins baseball card collection!
I do my best to be a good attorney, and the last couple of days I've had a string of good results so I'm a little happier with my profession than I am on some other days.
