I got nostalgic for Soul Note. I'm shuffling through a bunch of Mal Waldron.Let's not forget that he was the inspiration for the "Vive le Rock" t-shirt, one of the most iconic fashion pieces for the early punk scene.I hadn't connected Schlesinger to either Fountains of Wayne or That Thing You Do, but he composed some fantastic songs for Crazy-Ex.
