I dunno. Based on Game 3, not really impressed with either OKC or SAS.
I realize, obv., that the eastern conference champ will be the HEAVY underdog in the Finals, but. . . -
me, too, actually. except i'll go to insane clown posse -- not jazz -- shows.
in Well that may be the end of eMu for me.

i'm gonna grab a cup of coffee sometime soon and go thru this entire thread. in the meantime, i'll note that another message-board i used to contribute to and now just mostly read-- ilm -- has a thread dedicated to this topic that might be of inter…

i dig some of that asa album!
for some reason, i thought the "free-music" thread was only about the odd item that was free on emusic. now i see there's a lot of interesting titles there, free on other sites like bandcamp. -

well, about the "best album of the year" thing; hold on hold on. this new walkmen album is good. and this song, love you love -- which is only availab… -
no, i haven't! is it like "ramshackle punk"? that stuff rarely appeals to me. but i also think the men is a group i might like. in fact, i loved one of their songs so much that i downloaded the whole compilation (it's the one on that sacred-bones …

haha.
yes i do, because it is dark and sinister, and because i hate fun. -
official video for the first single (no. 1 against the rush) from liars new disc, which might be the best thing released so far this year. be forewarned: it's really -- really …

@germanprof: it was a "message" appended to the top right hand of the screen. hardly great notice, but i saw it yesterday.

actually they made clear this was happening. but still -- OMINOUS -
okay, i can wholeheartedly cosign this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
urge overkill sometimes lacked tunes, but they made up for it with attitude, style and swagger. this is a great album. see, e.g., dropout. -
that liars disc i mention above is album-'o-the-year so far IMO. sinister vibe.

i just got this, for the first time! i think this band has a future! they sound like nice young men! -

just heard chris sheridan say that spurs will win because they're too deep and too experienced. he asked a good question: when was the last time a "young team" -- like, OKC young (with the core players being 22 or 23 years old) -- won a title?
i also think emusic should stay away from those "essential discs of an era"-type sales, since they're inevitably littered with discs that people now find in the cutout bins (e.g., stone-temple-pilots; that pearl jam disc; others). bad impression im…i missed them, too. i have a GBV album, and some of it is pretty great, actually. one song in particular, called rape tractor or something like that. i guess that's your 90s lo-fi blueprint.Mykki Blanco & The Mutant Angels.
man, this is dangerous sounding; industrial, grinding, tribal music from a drag-queen punk. try(Quote)

also, OKC -- SAS is furious. i thought OKC would just flatten SAS, but i guess that old veteran team is cagey.hey, this book is a pretty good read! mostly cuz (a) i love noir-ish pop-art and (b) the dialog is snappy. example!, starting with her, moving to him.
