Man, I didn't realize how lucky I am. My wife puts up with all of it sans protest, except for the occasional free-jazz squonker, can't really blame her for that. Her sister was staying with us for a while, TV on all the time, tha… -
amclark, in the year that album came out, 3 different people gave it to me for Christmas.

Wouldn't it figure? I checked several of the other things from the other time, this seems to be the only one.

Psst. What price are you seeing on this?

I will probably stay for a while at least. Prices on most of the things on my list haven't changed, and the bonus on my grandfathered plan helps. The price "ceiling" of ~6 bucks is lower than I expected, and generally beats Amazon by quite a bit.<…

Well..there is no down side to having all of Impulse, ECM, and Verve for a top price of 6.49 per disc. Many quite a bit less.
There is a big down side to having lost Fantasy/Prestige, or whatever chunk of Fantasy it is we have lost. Wi…Blah, everything's 6 bucks. A few bargains to be had on albums with no long tracks. I will say that's not a bad price on longer compilations, etc...essentially the same as the old 12-credit album price.Hey Katrina!

Also, you need to get a life, rather than re-checking this url every few minutes.
This is a crazy album. DIY jazz ensemble.
You can't get into much trouble going to Limewire.com anymore.
What's up with downloading at LWS anymore? It used to try to open Limewire, which I never cared to install on my comput…Indeed I picked it because you (or someone around here!) recc'd it. I will go back for "Afro-Beat Airways," if I'm still there!Maybe they are backpedaling. 11th hour negotiations etc, or in this case 11:59.
Someone linked to an NPR story on the other board, which reports that eMU "imposed" pricing tiers on the Indies. amclark, I'm with you in lamenting the absence of Sucklechimp in the Wanderer flack* thread. At the very least, we could have had Wanderer's take on SC's claim to have the biggest dick in Oklahoma City.
*Actually this should be "flak." …jonah, it's a fine album. Of course Burrell is very young back then, I think he sounds quite toned-down and softened. Hawk of course has that beautiful, mellow soulful sound, but it's not soppy like some of his late stuff gets. Tommy Flanagan is …It is 1958 where I am.
