I actually don't use eMu dollars on ECM stuff, because the money goes farther elsewhere. I get the occasional iTunes gift card, and use those for ECM.
Columbia (Dylan, Miles, etc) still there for the moment.

I am told that the battery removal tool mangles the case irreparably; and that at least some of the kits include a replacement case for your iPod innards to rattle around in.
I conclude it's not worth risking many if any dollars, or fing… -

Thought I'd look into replacing the battery in my old, previous gen 80G iPod, but no go. Tech says replacing the battery pretty much destroys the case, and even then it's iffy whether it will work. He says there's a "back door" Apple refurbishing …
