Saw The Dandy Warhols at a small KC venue called The Riot Room - haha, I remember going to that same place back when it was called The Hurricane.
A band called Seratones opened, and I quite liked their energy.
Great show, I danced so…

What angers me the most is, the Microsoft update KB3035583 keeps getting "unhidden". That's the update that installs the "upgrade to windows 10" nag.
Pfffffbt. Way to attract more derision & ridicule, Microsoft!

Absolutely love, love, love "The Magicians".
Catch it, if you can.

OK, this isn't a mockery of a band name - which happens to be <…

hah, I wonder if Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon still comes with the poster.

@JUJ, I don't mind new stuff, usually. I'll probably be fine when I get a Win 10 computer. Just not interested in upgrading an older machine.

I upgraded and tried it. Then I went back to Windows 8.1.
If you go back, you have to do it within 30 days.
And I keep having to hide windows update KB3035583, which is the update package that has the nag about updating to windows 10…

I've had all sorts of permission problems since the last few Windows updates - not the license agreement as you have, but downloading apps. That process puts the apps in a temporary f…

Bummer!
How about a different windows account-if you start iTunes several times, do you always get the license agreement? -
That was a common issue with McAffee several years ago. Also ESET NOD, if I recall.
But I think most common is a damaged preferences file specific to one user account. Here's directions on rebuilding it, assuming you're on a Windows system:…

LOL, had to look.

Ugh! I couldn't tell if it was just a display snafu in iTunes, or the apple software was actually changing the underlying files. The one post showed the display all messed up, but said the correct song played.
I'm still on good old versio…

It's really cut down on the applicants. I was deleting upwards of 30, some days. Now I'm going to the spam page & deleting those, only 3-4 at the most. They have the same "I want to see all/be all/do all" that the applicants queue used to hav…

Ah, that Mad Men finale...not too much of a spoiler here in my post.
I thought it was great in that it ended with an ad campaign that is instantly recognizable for most of the world, almost like the first season had the Kodak carousel ad ca…

I'm thinking I will not take this update.

Have an excellent time!

Oh, good idea! Just declined 17 of those. And about that many yesterday. All from yahoo addresses.
I don't bother checking the blacklist site. -
Yes, I'm clearing out spammer applicants daily, anywhere from a couple to a dozen per day.

It looks the same to me. Well done!
One topic from March 17th somehow floated to the top. The one about what to do with an old turntable. people had posted in other topics past the 17th, though. Not sure if anything else is out…

DJ wannabes around the world want you to donate it or offer it on craigslist!
Somebody has a current $70 listing on ebay for that same model, plus $41 to ship.in Pros and Cons of trashing an old junky turntable vs. giving it away. Comment by Katrina March 2015

Yes, you can give it up! I stopped watching House in season 5.
@Doofy, yes, John Ralphio and Mona Lisa! They were awesome in the short doses we saw them in.
