Back when I was a kid I loved Chuck Berry's music, and on occasion still do. I remember reading several years ago that his recordings, and othe… -
Here's the link for the Freburger Orchestra, very nice recording.

Bad Thoughts,
Downloading it now, thanks very much. I always forget about 7digital as I find it difficult to browse for classical there. This is the third great bargain I've picked up there, along with the Telemann and Paul O'dette discs on … -
Kez, Thanks for the track listing, not being that knowledgeable I would not recognize them, but I do like to have the correct track titles. Now I just have to steel myself to buy a booster pack at emu or to purchase (for $4 more) at Amazon, which …

Kez,
I am wondering if you are familiar with this Vivaldi recording; Vivaldi: Vespro a San Marco by Chur de Chambre de Namur on Ambronay records. It's a two disc set and I'm thinking of splurging so I would appreciate any info you might have… -
Kez - I hope the Venturini becomes available on Emusic. I'm still subscribing there, on a very limited basis, mainly because of Harmonia Mundi and BIS and the other Classical labels. Lately I've been listening to two albums by London Baroque on B…

Looks like I can say thanks once more for your Baroque recommendations. I'm putting this in my list for my refresh date.

Mommio,
Evidently we are from the same era, a bit of irony is that the only recording I remember by Ferlin is " since you're gone" -
Here's over four hours of beautiful madrigals composed by Monteverdi and performed by Concerto Italiano for $11.98 on the Naive label.
I still watch Bugs and his pals on DVD and my 11 year old grand daughter loves all of them. So perhaps there is hope for the world after all.James Moody, that's sad, he was one of the last of my old favorites. I have listened to his Sinatra tribute album many times over the years. Both Hank Jones and Moody in the same year. The Kinks - Waterloo SunsetThanks BigD, she's been a favorite of mine for years, and now I have these on my computer. When I tried downloading here (Italy) a few weeks ago 7Digital wouldn't allow it. I'm returning to the states to retire, not for the downloading :-) How did you find these tracks? There doesn't seem to be a category for classical on their site. Thanks, I didn't know they had classical, this will make relocating to the states a bit more enjoyable. It looks like everything by Masaaki Suzuki is on sale on BIS. There are some Bach solo harpsichord double albums for 18 credits that are a real bargain.Devil in a Blue Dress with Denzel Washington and Don Cheadle has a great blues soundtrack, T-Bone Walker, Bull Moose Jackson etc. Also a great movie.
