Hmm... Okay, you're right, I made up a new account just now and it didn't insist that I subscribe, and indeed it let me download the free track. (Thanks!)

It's members-only now though, so that's a change from the previous version. I guess I can't really blame them - I could claim that I've been thinking about re-subscribing and this makes it less likely, but if I'm being totally honest, that pr…

They're not the first to use that same C-D#-G-G#-G spooky-waltz progression in the main theme, though:

There's a new-ish review of the Raveonettes' "anti-album," which is apparently going to be called "2016 Atomized," on a blog called "First new Slowdive track in 22 years: "Star Roving."
Not bad, but you'd think they could come up with a better title given all that time. That can actually work, though, if you're standing on the North or South Pole and the light socket is mounted on one of those fancy new inertial field dampeners.
Tagging it as "jazz" makes sense, though. Conventional wisdom these days is that only hipsters can be into "ambient," but babies can't be hipsters because they're not old enough to grow facial hair.
I rarely make fave lists, but this year there weren't a lot of albums I really liked for some reason so it was fairly easy to do. TBH, I'm only including some of these (including "Blackstar") because they were interesting, not because they really co…I thought about using Prime Pantry last year when I broke my leg and wasn't able to drive myself around for a while, but that only lasted a couple of weeks because it was my left leg and I have a car with automatic transmission. I'm going to go against the general consensus and say that as a shareware author, you'll be letting the side down if you get too snarky with Dr. Phyllis here. Overall, this hasn't been a bad year so far. I liked A Moon Shaped Pool and Blackstar, but my faves would have to be the s/t debut from in The Best Albums of 2016 Comment by ScissorMan June 2016Actually, I think you've got it about right - roughly three years have passed in narrative time since the beginning of the series, so they can't account for the six years of aging by the younger characters, and for the most part they don't even try.…Big Beak Kid's crazy mom was the aunt of the Stark kids (their mom's sister). Not so much these days of course, since he decided in the mid-90s that he prefers boats.
Let us not forget that the Ramones' "This Ain't Havana" contains a great deal of banana content, and I suspect there are other examples out there of people rhyming "banana" with "Havana," in case anyone is doing searches based solely on song titles.…Why limit yourself to individual songs when you can have an entire band?

I've driven through one of those.
Robyn Hitchcock used to write songs like that - "Star of Hairs," "Heart Full of Leaves," "Furry Green Atom Bowl," "Globe of Frogs," "Daisy Bomb," and a few others. Not so much anymore...
