There's too much emphasis on vinyl for my taste. The White Stripes are offering some reissues of some early 45s. But again, it's on vinyl, so I'll probably pass. Plus, I'll be visiting my Mom in Oneonta, NY, not exactly a hotbed of indie music.

I was in on the beta test, which offered five free DLs a week. You had to watch a 30 second commercial before each DL. Very similar to Guvera.

The album is available on 7digital in the UK and Rhapsody in the US. -
Guvera has several late period Talking Heads available thru the promo, but they're a mess. "True Stories" has all but one track. "Little Creatures" is missing several, and "Naked" and Stop Making Sense" are missing more.

I know it's cheaper at Amazon, but I don't mind rewarding Guvera for everything they've given me in the last week. A (very) small price to pay.

Bummer. I downloaded four out of five tracks from Lee Morgan's "Search For The New Land" with my remaining DLs today. Oh well. If it really is over, I'll happily pay Guvera $1.59 for that last track to complete the album.
