When Prince first reemerged from hiding a couple years ago I dropped $250 a ticket to see him in the local jazz club. The show ended up being the debut of his 3rd Eye Girl backing band. Totally worth the $250 to stand about 8 feet from Prince.

I saw Hot Chip on Saturday night. They're even better live than I expected. Incredibly fun.

In Milwaukee they actually cut the opening band off with one song left because they'd used up their time.
Just learned I'll once again have a press pass to the Soundset hip hop festival. Ice Cube is there this year.
