Interesting...the mp3 is now $11.99 and the CD + Auto-Rip is $12.99. Still better to get the CD/Auto-Rip, though, as it comes with 3 extra tracks that I didn't notice earlier today.

I love that The Lumineers and Kendrick Lamar get specifically listed.

Purchased via Amazon Auto-Rip (I have Prime, so free shipping).

Greg - You guys always get new releases on Mondays, but in the States they come out on Tuesdays. I've heard several of the tracks already and am liking what I hear (it's not a pantheon album, but sounds pretty darn good).

Gah. The National announced more tour dates, including a Twin Cities show, which is at the same terrible venue as The Postal Service.
Dangit.

I really, really want to listen to Bowie, but I also want to hold off until I can get the new one tomorrow. So I'm doing the next best thing:

The Americans is fantastic. If you aren't watching it, start now. Best new show since Homeland, easily.

No way you could have known it was the last go around.
It was definitely worth it even if it hadn't been, though.

I've seen them twice. Once as an opening act for R.E.M. post Boxer (Modest Mouse was also on the bill. Good show), and once as a headliner a couple months before High Violet came out. They put on a fantastic show.

Nice, thom! I'm probably going to skip The Postal Service (tickets aren't on sale here until tomorrow). They're playing an absolutely terrible venue for sound, so it just isn't worth it.

My Bloody …I definitely need to check them out fully (as well as Autechre), sadly neither one are on Guvera, so I'll have to track them down cheaply elsewhere.
Doofy - That guy likes his crocs! Although, not those ones.
CraigI can't call any Blancmange to mind at the moment. In fact, I don't even recall seeing the name before. I have a feeling they were primarily UK, and Wikipedia seems to agree - the only U.S. chart listings is the Dance Charts. So many British arti…

CraigJust finished my first listen to The Men...it's not great. The album is divided into a Side 1 and Side 2 and it's clear why. The first side explores the almost alt country sound they first tried on Open Your Heart's "Candy". While I have n…
