I don't get the returned love of cassettes, either. Okkervil River's newest album is available on Cassette, but why would I choose that over CD or if i had a record player, vinyl?

That article also made me think of the young actor who plays Joffry (?) in Game of Thrones who is likely a bit less evil in person.

That was a great episode, Craig. I'd forgotten Hank's wife lied about his insurance covering his medical bills. Walter's DVD was great. My wife doesn't believe anything that comes out of Walt's mouth. -
I saw Dash Rip Rock play a halloween show live in Lafayette, Louisiana several years ago. It was quite fun.

X-FIles, overall, holds up well to rewatching, doesn't it? One of my favorite episodes is I think from Season 3 when a writer is trying to write a book about an alien encounter and the same incident is told from around three different perspectives, …

Has anyone else checked out "Hell on Wheels?" I had ignored it for awhile because the show name made it sound like some kind of Sons Of Anarchy knockoff, but it's actually a Western following the expansion of the transcontinental railroad. Four epis…

That's too bad, Denver. I used to steam to some of the live shows for free. That was the best part of it to me.

Okay, I guess I will feel a bit bad.
My initial laugh was because this band has more drama than most bands, thinking of the lead singer melt down at SXSW, the blog post above, and now this. It's starting to approach Spinal Tap. Maybe. -
Sort, I'm sure some current eMu users will respond, but meanwhile, you might want to go over to the "Well, this might be of the end of emu for me." I haven't been a member for about a year now either, mostly due to budget but also having an overabun…

I have. It's been around for several years. They used to let you listen to all kinds of live shows for free on their website and have occasional free downloads of some concerts. They also sold lots of music memorabilia. I haven't been to their websi…

I liked Torchwood too and it does have a some crossover with Dr. Who.
Like the phrase Hatewatch, too. That most recently applies to watching a few episodes of Sleeper Cell with my wife. SO many plot holes and flat characters. The best I … -

I just picked up Netflix streaming in June, mainly for arrested development. I dropped it originally whenever they started charging for it in addition to any DVD by mail plans. I prefer their selection of DVDs vs streaming, but my wife has enjoying…

When will we be able to buy a piece of Detroit, cheap?
But seriously, it's a crazy situation. I went to graduate school with a guy born in Detroit, but mostly raised in Dearborn. He's lived there his entire life, so was able to fin…
