I noticed that change as well for GoT. I'm with you, Katrina, I really enjoy watching its intro. I think a well done introduction for a show can say a lot about a show. I blame the Simpsons for making me pay more attention to Introductions. I like t…

Amazon should be embarrassed that $7.99 is a sale for mp3's of the new VW when you can get the physical CD for $9.99.

thanks Doofy, will check those out!

@Doofy: What's your favorite McCoy Tyner album? I loved his "Plays Coltrane" and don't know many of his other albums, but would like to.

Glad you like you first step into GoT. I had to put Boardwalk Empire aside after the first two seasons. It moves so slow then suddenly everyone is shooting at everyone.

Pitchfork has a review of it today.
I love the idea of telling the audience to put their phones/cameras away, which this band apparently does. I always wonder what people do with mostly blurry photos and video after a show. /end rant. -
Third volume's the charm?
Nah. I didn't mind the first volume, but the novelty wore off with each subsequent release. -

Wow, I didn't realize Netflix had so many original shows. They have definitely helped some indie films make it to DVD, etc. I just hope the new episodes of Arrested Development and House of Cards make it to DVD. Maybe I will pick up streaming again …

I have yet to go to a record store day. Not too long ago in Southern Louisiana no local record stores existed. Now in Dallas, I just don't make it to Good Records too often but am glad to know it exists. I agree with Doofy some kind of indie local b…

Phoenix- Bankrupt streaming on iTunes -
Nice, completely agree with Buffet and Eagles as two bans I have no need of listening to. It also makes me notice some people that haven' t been on here in some time like Daniel, Esq.

A SXSW rec from somewhere. Sound a bit like early Death Cab for Cutie at times. -
Get galvanized steel brackets. They are much less prone to rust.

Listen to Mother Falcon's You Knew on NPR. This is a wonderful large scale instrumental group from Austin.

That is a good question, Thom. It could also apply to an album that you imported yourself, but perhaps isn't licensed officially in a particular country.

Maybe the missing booklet is to signal that they weren't bought from normal means? I received a free CD when I renewed with Under the Radar Magazine and they punch a hole through the UPC code.

Thom, thanks for sharing that list. I've seen a few of these movies and The Lives of Others deserves to be up at the top.
@GP That is a great movie. I saw that a few …
