Not reading it just yet, but a history of Vietnam War/ mid sixties US history They Marched into War is $1.99 today for the Kindle version.

That is good news. After stopping Drips, I went back to emu for a few months, but just put it on hold for the summer. I hope it's a sign of other indie labels returning.

P.D.Q. Bach 1712 Overture and Other Musical Assults

Glad there's an update. The previous one crashed like a crash test dummy, as in it seemed built to crash repeatedly.

@amclark I did the Man in The High Castle pilot. It seemed good. As with any book to movie/tv adaptation, I'm curious to see what they will keep and what they will shed or at lea…

There are. I use Spotifree for Mac. I know there are others. I did though tell a pc person about such apps and they managed to download a virus, though not sure how directly related that was.

As the guys on Sound Opinion noted, what seems to irk these Tidal musicians is that Spotify has a free level. Honestly, with an add muting program, I don't see why most people would pay for Spotify unless they wanted to use it mostly on smartphone o…

@Doofy they do a lot of pop culture t-shirts and you're right many would seem to use licensed trademarked images. They had a great one a few years ago with dance moves to the Time …

From a TeeFury t-shirt design. Not a West hater, just ambivalent.

That is too bad. I've ordered from the before, especially when I didn't live near a local record store. They used to give out free mp3s weekly but they just started streaming them.

Maybe the first person to tag it called them W by mistake.

That would suck, though the last Mac version crashes like a demolition derby ride. Still, I like scrobbing. Thanks for the info!

Darkside - PsychicI think i listen to this album a couple a times a week. Other than Jaar's own album, and maybe Egyptology The Skies, I haven't found much that sounds quite like it.

Here's a letter from Marvin Gaye's Children on the court decision

I've been watching all of Star Trek Voyager. I never really got into it when it was on TV. It does have some very dull if not bad episodes and the Borg escapee's outfit seems painted on her skin and they apparently have an endless supply of shuttle …

Sadly, if you Google this occurrence, it leads to plenty of discussion and several routines that borderline on voodoo. I've only had luck by taking all music off and putting it back on. I suppose I should just go back to manual song management.

My Apple/iTunes lawsuit would be about the buggy failure that is syncing, namely when iTunes claim my iPhone is too full to add a few more albums while also showing it has 2 gigs free.

Then I ended my Domino subscription after a month. They're not very good at telling you what's coming up in the coming months at least not compared to M+6.

What another fine mess this thread has started.

Anyone else been watching the Breaking Bad spinoff/prequel "Better Call Saul?" It was a little slow, but has quickly start to give some colorful background for how Saul became Saul Goodman and his long history of talking his way out of tight spots.

I just had Danger 5 recommended to me recently and started watching it. It's a campy spy tv show about a group of Allied spies trying to take out Hitler and his talking attack dogs, dinosaurs, robot humans, and converted Allied soldiers. It's from A…

Lol @ Rudie, that's hilarious! I love this God account. I believe it's a character created for a book and perhaps something else.

love these last few rec's for the secondary material.

Hauschka's Abandoned City is $5 I've found the newish MP3 cart is a great way to track price changes by using it as a kind of "wish list/save for later"
