That sounds about right. A while back I guestimated to a friend that if I listened to 3 albums a day (an average day for me), it would take make about 20 yrs to get through my collection.
I do plan on slowing down my acquisitioning in th… -
Bubamara Brass Band play Balkan and Klezmer music. The woman's voice is quite beautiful.

Me too. I lost count a few years back. However, if I listen to about 100 albums a day, I think I can get through my collection in about 8-9 months. -
Zombie Nation by the Brains - nothing major, but fun Shockabilly. The sort of thing you want to crank up in the car with the windows down on a hot day.
I got you all beat on BMG.
In 1995, I decided to put up a BMG sign-up web page: I grabbed the last 6-8 months of BMG catalogs, made a quick database for inputting the artist-album- cat numbers, and offered to cut a few friends/coworkers …I've had 3 different rejoin offers for my second account, plus an extra month free. I may have to join back up.
Interestingly, I haven't received an offer yet for the frogkopf account, which I quit earlier than the one I've been offered …Firsr Aid Kit - The Big Black and the Blue - a couple of harmony singing sisters from Sweden who started a buzz earlier for their cover of the Fleet …Black Robot - not the most original music, but it Rocks plenty....I'm diggin the Chillbone too - I always have a soft spot for fat, chewy basslines.
A new one to check out that might get lost in the shuffle is Viernes - Sini…I'm diggin' it.
I have to admit that I've been a sucker for psych ever since stealing my older sister's 45 of Incense and Peppermints at the age of 7....
Ditto for Reggae after stealing her 45 of Desmond Dekker's Israelites a…Scott Morgan - solo album from an old-time Detroit stalwart who played with Fred Sonic Smith, Wayne Kramer, and Deniz TekDamn luddite, look at you!
Sped right past DWIZZLE and jujubeebop, and are closing in on the hellhound from powell - I guess I better watch my back!Down and Away - Reclaim the Radio - upbeat garage punk from Sweden. Somewhat derivative, but pretty good for its type. There is also this review if you want to keep up on it...New C-back track - a further document of the heartbreaking Craig-C-back saga.......Greensleeves dropped 3 slices of classic old school dub today (last 3 on the list). The Revolutionaries album feature the sound of 70s Robbie Shakespeare and Sly Dunbar. Sound …Treats - Sleigh Bells is over $4, but still fairly cheap. P4K give it 8.7, for what it's worth.
I'm liking what I hear so far....There should be a "show me more plans" link to expand the list of plans available. It's working for both my active accounts, both of which are on non-standard plans. Here's a copy and paste of what I see:
eMusic Lite …C-back dropped another magnum opus, and yes, Craig is again mentioned in the review.....Come on over and do the Twist
Come on over and shoot the shit
I just found out that this album is available at Guvera
