The Ron Jeremy Experience would be a good name for a band - especially if you used lots of wah-wah and cowbell in the music.
-
I will say that I was disappointed that Blackiss didn't turn out to be a Gene Simmons/George Clinton collaboration.
-
All three of those band names mean something in the Movie Avatar!

One cannot forget the indelible Mr Meeble

Maybe he signed with the majors?

I guess some people are just eclectic....

Prose in Rosette - I cringe every time I seen that name pop up.
-
I've also noticed that this weekend in particular seems to be a celebration of crappy Photoshop skills.

There were several Atlantic 60th Anniversary collections that disappear the first day that looked good but haven't reappeared either. I'm hoping they come back and that the price is right, since presumably they were remastered and sound great.

This one would definitely be in the running.

You mean something like this Craig?

I picked up the Clogs album yesterday shortly after it dropped. I like them. I bought most of their albums here when I first rejoined a couple of years ago, I think they were around $1 for a long time.
-
Actually, the point I was making with the number of listens is that the total listed in the left hand side under the album is not unique listeners, but an aggregate of all listens to all tracks. A better rough indication of the number unique listene…

There is a rough correlation between the number of times an album has been viewed/listened to etc., and the number of times it has been purchased. I will grant you that none of us know the exact relation, but statistically speaking the more people …

It looks they stopped counting a couple of weeks ago. The newest release that I find that has downloads counted is from Jan 12 2010. Anything older than that has plays listed for them, and most of the Sony stuff showed up last summer, and should li…

Yeah, I'm sure their being on Amie is simply a matter of keeping all their bases covered.

Has anyone picked up Analog Rebellion or PlayRadioPlay! (same band, different name)? I picked both up earlier when they were cheap. They sound pretty good - a bit of Radi…

Sony has been selectively releasing newer albums on Amie, presumably for promo reasons. I most cases they are former indie bands just starting off instead of established major labels, so the Bowie is a bit of a surprise. Of course, with a live album…

That's easy - Come on Eileen.

Yeah but, I'm kicking ass on that mangy mutt. I'm now about 7K ahead of the wild eye lab.
I did give it props, though. -
And it looks like we still have Sony to thank for something!

I agree. It's in their best interest to make as many people as possible scramble for the REC money. Otherwise, the same 10 of us would make all the REC money (instead of the same 25 of us, as now).

Various Artists- Got No Chains - The Songs of The Walkabouts looks good.
The Walkabouts are one of the edgier Alt-Country acts around, they've been around for about 25 years now.

It won't be long before you're passing up KinkyWizard and Kennykenny!
Plong, you start trembling too! -
I cashed in about 150 RECs - now the whole "RECs you can cash out" page seems to be loading properly. The aforementioned method of cashing in RECs 5 at a time seems to be much faster than using the whole page.
They really should allow yo… -
My work around is to find a page with RECs.
Ctrl +C the URL
Ctrl +T (new tab)
Ctrl +V (paste)
Enter
Repeat 5 times
Close tabs once the RECs have been cashed in
Go to the next page of RECs, repeat.
