OMG - They have awoken the dreaded Sucklechimp!

It looks like elwoodicious is becoming a regular Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney all rolled into one!

I promised him a glorious flaming death and a co-credit with the babelicious Katrina...
Although something tells me that Katrina would slinging a shotgun too, if it were more true to life. -
John Coltrane's Ascension - 2 tracks, almost 80 minutes!

I've lost 7-8 credits since joining, due to various issues. Yesterday I lost two songs halfway through the download because it lost connection with the server.
Good luck on getting credited. I think I tried to contact them the first time… -
I see Bad Thoughts liked Ethiopian Nights so much that he downloaded it twice!

Speaking of Mingus, here's one that everyone should have The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady.
Only 4 tracks! -

Sounds like time to start filling gaps in my Impulse collection - most of those albums only have 3-6 tracks.

My guess is that they have x amount of total credits per channel, and distribute way more than that number, pulling the unused ones once the total has been used up.
I've seen some credits persist for weeks, and others disappear in a day.… -
@muggsy - it's not weird that you got the credits and your wife didn't. The channel is sponsored by a men's store, so it makes sense that a guy would get them while a woman wouldn…

1971 was no slouch either!
* Ray Charles: A 25th Anniversary in Show Business Salute to Ray Charles [ABC]
* Miles Davis: Jack Johnson [Columbia]
* Sly & the Family Stone: There's a Riot Goin' On [Epic]

I went to Robert Christgau site and copied his A-List albums from one year (1970).
These albums all came out in the same year!
A doubt you could come up with a more impressive list if you came up with top decade lists for the… -
I definitely think that overall quality of music took a nose dive in the late 80s. Between the late 50s to the mid 70s, a large percentage of the better albums were actually on major labels. When that quality started declining, you had the rise of t…

It's the second one with Tom Waits on one of the tracks.
It's definitely one that you don't listen to casually - you certainly have to be in the right environment and not be distracted by other things. It repeats and repeats, but it just… -
@ amclark2
I don't think double copies count as two, but if they do, I have about 160 of the 80s and 135 of the 90s.
Otherwise, I have around 95 out of a 100 for each of the decades, although I can't say I remember what more … -
First of all, I'll have to say that Nirvana is my favorite rock band since the Clash, who was my favorite rock band since Led Zep, who was my favorite rock band since the Beatles/Stones/Who, and so on and so on back to when Thag first took two anima…

The Fetus?

Does that mean we can look forward to your music popping up on Amie Street?

It's called volume my son. They don't make any money on a single unit whatsoever, but they make up for it in volume!

I say let the Revolution continue!

I've temporarily given up on tagging. I'm just dumping the files into a folder name ARTIST-ALBUM, and will deal with them later. Given that we have two accounts here (incl girlfriend's) and have been grabbing albums with 5-8 tracks, I'm guessing the…

One thing I noticed about the embedded player on Guvera is that it doesn't always work the way it should. I've found that instead of using the play all button, a lot of time you need to play the individual track instead.
Give the t… -
Still no freebies of Guvera.....
OH, THE HUMANITY!!!!!!!!! -

I noticed that I actually have a -1 credit from Calgon.
Does this mean I owe them a song? ...If so, I can email them one of my buttload of Crimson Razorback tracks. -
More specifically, here's two albums whose combined totals equals 21 tracks!
Gladiators Trenchtown Mix Up - probably the closest thing to Bo…
