Now that I have that out of the way --
JUJ, 68, and all you other eMusers, wishing you a merry and blessed Christmas. It doesn't matter whether or not you celebrate it, or how you celebrate it, the wish for all good things is a heartfelt… -
Call me Scrooge. I do not like Mannheim Steamroller. Never have. And I have heard way too much of it today. Ruins the Christmas music I love. Makes it sound frantic. Bah, humbug!
-
No problems here with either downloader, and I have gotten quite a bit from both 7digital and Amazon.

Hey, tracyk -- glad to have you along for the ride.

Original Salzburg Mozartkugeln -- I love that some of the imitators chose to incorporate Real in the name of their own bonbons. Big bags, huh? Are they that good?

(Quote) Oh, my! Do you see a rabbit running around frantically? A grinning cat?
Are you okay with the refresh? Some of the new plan stuff is kind of confusing. -
Last paragraph of current last post in the Pure Thievery thread over there:
"P.S. If anybody wants to have a laugh they should go to the emusers website and search for "Wanderer" and look at what they have to say about this toadying apol… -
Sitting here grinning. mr. Brittleblood often leaves me guessing. I find it isn't necessary to understand his posts in order to enjoy them.

Great story, isn't it?

The responsibilities of those who rule are too heavy for me. As far as I am concerned, It's all yours, JUJ.

I hate secrets. Especially when I'm not in on them.

Well, wasn't he pissin and moanin, too? Pissin and moanin about all the pissin and moanin. I just couldn't resist.

You guys are too funny. Both of you know that I have no idea what you're talking about.
Elwoodicious, your comment reminds me of a pastor I knew years ago. He used these big $50 words in his Sunday sermons, making his sermon pretty usele… -
I do believe if any of us got too contentious, xtrev would push the magic button, sending us into outer space.
I love the music conversations. I rarely contribute because I am ignorant when it comes to the buzz words, the correct genre, … -
JUJ, are you already campaigning for 2012?
-
Hi, xtrev! I don't like embedded videos, lots of images or sigs because of the slow down, BUT I don't know many places where they aren't allowed. I have just learned to live with it. I do turn off sigs and images when the user controls allow.

I am a Moderator on another forum using vBulletin. The Administrator has to do a bit of "programming" to allow some special html. Perhaps the same is true for Vanilla.

What html have you tried?

I didn't leave the house yesterday -- too slick out there. We had a little more icy rain this morning -- very fine mist -- and a few flurries this afternoon, and it is still slick. I decided to get the mail about half an hour ago. The box is on the …

I wonder how many of those people actually use the Russian sites, as opposed to throwing it out there hoping to negotiate lower prices at eMu. I'm a stick in the mud -- brick & mortar, 7digital, Amazon, eMu, Amie St (RIP), and freebies from Guve…

(Quote) It's hard to come to grips with it, especially in areas other than music.
I don't see anything wrong with musicians trying to make a living doing what they love. I have a choice as to whether or not I will pay the asking price… -
I'm down to two cats now, both feral kitties who came to our house, then adopted us, and they are inside kitties, so no ice on their fur this morning.

And it's time for Nereffid to chime in.
You know where my love of classical music developed? Bugs Bunny cartoons. I didn't realize much of it was classical at the time, but recognition kicked in when I really began to listen to classical… -
I don't know. We haven't been above freezing for several days now. Temps in the teens to 20s, wind chills single digits to teens, more snow on the way tonight, followed by rain and sleet, with a possibility of 1/4 inch of ice. Some are predicting th…

Yes, I should brush up on my Twain. It has been years since I have read one of his novels. The first one I read was The Prince and the Pauper, borrowed from our antiquated school library (very small town) when I was nine years old. Read Uncle Tom's …

Chuckleheads? Haven't heard that one.

I hope that badge is for Wanderer. Every time I think he can't get any worse, he proves me wrong. His post on the reboot thread is so disgusting.

After reading all the complaints about the recent big addition, I am afraid to download anything from those labels. It's a cryin' shame. They already have your money, so it's be very, very careful in choosing downloads or cancel.

Sometime poor sound quality is better than no sound at all. Seems this may be the case, JUJ.

Froggy, your imagination knows no bounds. Nice story. I especially like "the patron saint of spittle and vitriol."
