At least I was able to d/l a bunch this morning. Back to "Starting..." for downloads. Once or twice a day I can download for about 10 minutes, and then it's just constant timeouts the rest of the time.

Does anything appear on the screen at all? Can you get into the BIOS (typically by pressing the F2 button as soon as any text appears on screen)?

Every so often I stop getting downloads, but usually just closing up shop for a couple hours and logging back in later clears up the issues.

I have the same problem - get logged out constantly and it often takes me 2 tries to log back in.

Yeah, it's for DRM on MS products. You can safely remove it. If any files won't play or devices won't connect you'll probably be prompted to install it again.
