The new Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti dropped early and is already over 5 bucks. I can't really get into them, but figured someone out there would b…

Oh great, now there's another pissed off "soon to be former" subscriber who can't handle the 30 day refresh cycle. I wonder how any of those people pay their credit card bills on time...

Nice. They also have a Fan Picks comp for free, too. Bandcamp's got a lot of cool stuff going on there. I should really buy more through them since they …

@Brighternow
That Broken Consort album is pretty amazing stuff.
This morning I've been on a Gui Boratto kick. I still don't understand how in What are you listening to right now? Comment by thomnottom June 2010 -
Congrats on your anniversary! Thoroughly enjoying your wife's blog.

I'm listening to a Fang Island radio station on Last.fm. I love me some post-rock, but most of the band names belong in this thread. This Town Needs Guns, Bear in Heaven, Ghosts and Vodka, and And So I Watch You From Afar... seriously?

Relapse just returned to eMusic. Oddly enough, they don't seem to be doing album-only pricing... yet. Mastodon's Leviathan is only 10 credits even…

Anything that keeps you off the streets is an excellent idea...

I like the album and all, but I'm not about to freak on someone who doesn't like it. Then again, as much as I love Twin Cinema, I've never gotten that into any of their other work (just a few songs from Mass Romantic).
There's just so mu… -

Thanks for the heads up. That might just be a "good" financial move for me.

Is it true that if you don't use it you lose it?

@elwoodicious - Just saw your tweet. Had no clue that album was actually on eMu now. I've been looking for a while, guess it's time to re-up for a month...

Tell your wife that I'm enjoying her writing (and I voted for her). She makes a good addition to my mommy reading material.
I'm actually trying to write more about being a daddy on my own blog, too. So the more I read, the more I am insp… -
Right now I'm glad my name isn't Craig :P
I'll be even happier when the neverending karaoke drop ends... -
Just added to my Mommy Blogroll (yes, I have a Mommy category in Google Reader). Will vote today.

My original account has yet to get any offers. Someone suggested it may be because I kept logging in to get the daily download. It's only been a couple weeks, so we'll see.

Sounds cool, I'll be checking it out.

Anyone able to complete purchases this morning? I was excited to see new singles from God Help The Girl and Camera Obscura but they won't take my money!

I guess they're just trying to catch up. They put out 6 albums from '96 to '05 then had a 4 year break. Now they're back on track to put out 6 during their 2nd decade.

68, you brought a tear to my eye.
My in-laws have helped us out financially with a number of things. Sometimes it has that old-fashioned negative effect of making me feel like an inadequate provider. But after forking over a big check th… -
I think it's just that everything is coming in so fast it's flying off the front page. The Juno Reactor albums I was recommending were Bible of Dreams and Beyond the Inifinite. Shango was decent, too.
They've dropped over 100 albums in t… -
There go all the RECs I just cashed out - more Metropolis including a bunch of KMFDM. I definitely recommend Angst (one of my faves) as well as the 2 Juno Reactors that just dropped.

Metropolis drop is under way! All hands on deck!

Are you sure about that? Nettwerk has been on Amie long before Sony, and their releases still start free. Some of their releases may have different licensing issues, but the first 2 Weepies started free.
-
Interesting, looks like there were a couple other Warp singles that were completely missed.

Bunch of random interesting stuff seems to be dropping at 15 cents/track. Some from Ramseur Records.
