@Craig - Honestly, that's cool. Too many people won't admit that they like something other people are bashing.

Oh yeah, and I'm on board for sharing top ten lists, but I think compiling them might go nowhere at all.

Hmmm, I'll have to make a correction here. I may be incorrect regarding the capitalization. The distinction is made in the naming of said millennia or centuries. So if you are referring to the 20th century, you are correct that did not end until 12/…

(Quote) Hate to turn this into a Grammar Nazi party, but this IS the last year of a decade (2000s) and 1999 WAS the last year of a century (1900s). While the Millenium (capital 'm') is a specific time period counted from year 1 (thus the First Mi…

Whoa, thanks guys. I got the full Tune Yards over yonder but hadn't snagged the EP yet. Got it! Also grabbed everything slightly Tru Thoughts related (Natural Self and all of those Unmeasured comps).
Kind of humorous that I just happened… -
I'm happy that both Paste and NPR put the soundtrack for Once up there. That has been criminally overlooked. The NME list is even worse due to their arrogance. To be honest, most of the other lists are actually making me appreciate P4K's list…

"They've partially come to their senses?" Haha!
It surprised me because it seemed like the entire staff absolutely loved the album (personally the samples didn't even remotely grab my attention). Figured it would at least make the top ha… -
Alright, now eMusic is working on their list. They're doing a top 100 - why is everybody picking a different number?
#100 The Friends Of Rachel Wort… -
Woohoo! Some Velvet Morning finally pushed me over 5000!

Steadily creeping towards 5000. If I had faster fingers with the BOAC I'd be there already...

Bunch of albums from Josh Rouse showed up - Bedroom Classics.

You know, Brighternow, I really thought you were complaining that you were stuck with the 50% off sale when you wanted the 30% off sale like everybody else...

For some reason this made me dig up some of the threads from the summer o' 09. What a depressing and aggravating time. The funny thing is that many of those changes still don't affect me - I've got 2 more refreshes left on my annual account.

Pretty tasteless... which is why I laughed.

For the first 4200 tracks or so my price per track was a nice neat 0. Now it's skyrocketed to $0.013! SWINDLEEEE!

They must not do a very good job of expiring offers. And now I'm debating whether I should really be spending another 25 bucks... especially when cashing in all my RECs would give me $23 or so.
DAMN YOU FROGKOPF! -
Not one teacher? I had multiple. Geez, in 10th or 11th grade I hit on some girl in the hallway. Turned out to be a French teacher. Was in her class my senior year and still tried to hit on her.

I was very disappointed after misinterpreting their 49 albums for $4.99 ad. Apparently I've spent too much time in the cheap seats...

Save up all the days
A routine malaise
Just like yesterday
I told you I would stay
Would you always
Maybe sometimes
Make it easy
Take your time
Think of all the ways
Momentary phaseVery tasty.
And the samples sound good, too...@frog - I believe I do have an account with the nick thom at 0. But that's my indieb0i account that still hasn't made 5000.
in Frogkopf is now #1 on Amie Street Comment by thomnottom November 2009They can be very sporadic and it's possible that we won't see any again. Rather surprisingly they ran at least 2 of them after Sony dropped before the 30% sales. You are obviously not lactose intolerant...At least I'm in the lead for the losers...Thanks for all the recs.
hoosfoos wins as I decided to go with Japancakes' debut EP.

I wondered because there had been some real negative backlash about used CDs on the eMu board at one point. Well, not really a backlash, but a number of posters w…And here's the Paste list for those interested.

Also, I've got about 30 of Paste's t…If you've seen True Lies you've heard "Por Una Cabeza" about 4 or 5 times at least.I'd say "Bad to the Bone" is played in more movies/tv shows, but "Por Una Cabeza" gets longer playtimes. Does anyone ever play more than the first 10 seconds of "Bad to the Bone"?
