The Names - Swimming + Singles: So glad ScissorMan introduced me to this Factory band I was unfamiliar with.
Sleep ? Over - Forever: Love this album. It appears to get filed under "dream pop", but it's too dark for that.
Veronica Falls - s/t: Thanks DanielEsq! Good indie pop.
Xeno & Oaklander - Sets & Lights: Feeding my recent appetite for the Wierd Records label. May be the best of the bunch, too.
eMusic
Iggy & The Stooges - Raw Power: Finally got around to grabbing this classic.
Zola Jesus - Conatus: Love her.
Amazon
The Modern Lovers - s/t: Been meaning to get this for awhile and the Amazon $2 discount pushed me over the edge.
Tom Waits - Bad as Me: Very, very good.
Wild Flag - s/t: Excellent rrriot girl.

ETA: Disappointing that the emusers software changes the infinity symbol in Sleep...Over to a question mark.
As for free stuff, I got this hard-not-to-like EP from 93MillionMilesFromTheSun called All You've Found, which is hosted either at archive.org or ourmedia.org, and from Bandcamp, there's the Ivory Splinters and, of course, Madame Blavatsky Overdrive, who have somehow managed to release about a dozen pretty-good-quality albums and EPs without ever charging a red cent. (They appear to be led by one of the guys in a band from back in the 90's called The Spent Poets... don't know if anybody here has heard of them.)
So, not a bad month, all in all.
