IMPORTANT: Amiestreet to No Longer Allow Re-downloading

I received mail yesterday which said:

blah, blah, blah starting on August 5th we'll only be able to offer a single download of your purchased music unless you've encountered a technical problem blah, blah, blah

So check your library, get anything that's missing, and remember to back up your music.

    They did say that you could still stream as much as you want.

    Also, you can still buy at one time and wait to download at a different time. This good for me because I like to buy at various times over the week and download everything at once.

    I think that I have yet to re-download anything from Amie (or eMu, for that matter), mostly because I am fairly anal about backing up my music library. I have had an inordinate number of corrupt dloads from AmieStreet, the last batch were Naxos classical, although that was mostly long-file name problems. The nice people at customer service reset the counters and I had no problems re-downloading them.
