I don't pay much attention to the latest releases. My focus is on filling in gaps in my knowledge and moving items from my wishlist to my collection. So, perhaps it is a useful filter to note current release items that break through and get my attention.

Here's my countdown style list of favorite albums from 2015 that I added to my collection while they were hot:

    I like this list because I have not heard any of them...it sent me to youtube. Seems I have actually downloaded that Analog Africa comp but I don't remember listening to it. Will have to dig it out.

    "I have not heard of any of them" That's the way a feel about a lot of the posts here (which I think is good).
