As part of 100 years De Stijl Mondrian to Dutch Design, the museum presents a concert by composer Roland Kuit. For this concert in the Rietveld pavilion in the sculpture garden, Kuit engages in research as a ‘sound architect’.
According to the principles of Neoplasticism, Kuit invents sound and elaborates upon it. He uses pure tones as building blocks for a composition. In this concert, Kuit balances on the interface between research, music, sound art and space. Neoplasticism and sound converge in the pavilion. Open and spatial.
The composer will provide an explanation before the concert.

A kind of selfie
And creating art surrounded by the sculptures of Barbara Hepworth is such a great honor.
