I get some use out of Amie St, enough to buy credit when its discounted (or even not) and keep it stashed there for when I need it -- even if it takes me a few months to get through $25. eMusic has a lot of N/A in Your Region too but it bothers me much more at Amie because the picking outside that at Amie are much slimmer. At eMu, oh well I've still got 1200 records saved for later that I CAN get so its easier to move on.
Still, I get enough good deals I keep an active account. I got the David Rawlings Machine album there for $5 recently which is worth the disappointments. Someone put Carolyn Mark and N.Q Arbuckle -- Canadian country singer/songwriter types -- album "Let's Just Stay Here" at the top of their best of 2009 list so I grabbed it off eMu yesterday and loved it. Was able to go to Amie St and get NQ Arbuckle's other albums for about $2 each. So, yeah Amie has limited use for non-USAians but just enough use for me to still value it.
