BTW, I wonder whether eMusic has made rollover credits available on all accounts. I just refreshed with one credit left, and I now have 101 credits. This may not be a totally new policy, since I usually use all my monthly downloads.
I'm not getting the holiday gift message either and called a friend to see if she had. She got a message that her plan would be changing from 50/20.79 to 37/14.99 which means track price would drop a penny. I find it hard to believe that they would decrease prices and wondering if anyone else has got a message like this upon logging in?
Is your friend on an annual? I got the initial message back in July for a bit, then it disappeared. It showed up again shortly before the expiration of my annual in October as a reminder. I vacillated, and didn't make the change to monthly, a low nps, until the night before it was to expire.
Assuming your in the US I'd guess it's just a matter of time. It seems like whenever they do something like this it takes a bit for them to get through everyone.
I haven't logged in, so I don't know if I have it yet or not.
Also there are two new eMusic selects artists that just went up: Best Coast and Hooray for Earth. I'm glad they're still doing this. I wondered if it would vanish along with Yancey.
Glad to have these, esp since I swindleed myself by clicking on one of the Tompkins Square albums on the wrong day. Too bad non-US are left out...Seems like they manage to misfire even when making a goodwill gesture.
I can't decide which of the five track albums on my list I want to get.
Do I get the hipster glo-fi album that will have me dancing (for better or worse), or do I get the BIS album that was highly recommended to me on this very board?
I'll eventually get them both so I guess it's not a really trying decision, but still!
Ahh I forgot all about the Thompkins square deal. Oh well, got the first two days. The third day had been free at some point earlier this year.
My 5 just showed up too. Nice. Wonder if they will do a booster sale again.
Craig: Yeah 5 is a hard number to spend. I had a few I've been saving for the Fiery Furnaces CD to drop in two weeks. Anyone pick that up earlier this year? Reviews suggest it is more like their first album then more recent albums, which I hope is true. I love Gallowbird's Bark.
I haven't yet, I'm waiting for my refresh to grab a two track album.
My decision was based on both options being albums I want that are exactly 5 nps. I went with the hipster option. I decided that whether it was the right decision or not is unimportant because I'll have the BIS one shortly too.

BTW, no chance it's a price increase. No marketing division is that dull-witted.

BTW, both of us are in the US.

Yeah, I'm very happy to see this too.
