Merry Christmas Y'All
Not withstanding how much last weekend's snowstorm and flu attack have messed with holiday preparations I set out to accomplish what I can, so...
Merry Christmas to All, and to All a Good Night.
Catch ya on the flip side, Rudolph.

Had a few disruptions myself this year. I am headed out to the mall now to try to patch it back together. But you know what, it still is on track to be the best Christmas ever.
Merry Christmas, happy holidays and season's greetings to everyone.
Now I'm sitting here enjoying the free downloads from In A Cabin With posted on eMu by confused. For those of you who didn't see it, here's the link: Link. So far I really like The Black Atlantic, Erny Green, and Solden. All good chill music. Truly perfect for sitting indoors watching the weather rage outside.

No snow here, a sprinkling of rain so far, but heavier predicted for later today and/or tomorrow. My 50" Samsung plasma won't be here until the 30th (estimate), and my Blu-Ray player should be here the day before. The TV stand arrived yesterday, and it is all put together waiting. I had to put a blanket over it because our kitty has decided it is his new condo. He still makes his way under the blanket to the bottom shelf and peeks out at us. Haven't yet ordered cable/broadband, but will get that done in the next few days.
Yes, BIG birthday/Christmas gift to self, but hey, I so deserve it! Not because the year has been tough (it hasn't been so bad), but because of all the tough years before. Many of them, for a variety of reasons. For spouse - got Band of Brothers, Blu-Ray. He is into that kind of thing, and I do hope he will enjoy it.
Hope you get what you want, or want what you get -- and NO coals in your stockings or switches under the tree.
Enjoy your gift to self!

Traditionally, I celebrate on Cristmas Eve, so I write post Christmas meal, presents and frivolity. Guests have left, I have a mountain of crumpled wrapping paper in the living room, another made of dishes in the kitchen awaiting washing and an overwhelming feeling of contentment as I type and look out over the snowy landscape.
I wish you all a fantastic Chrismas and an even better 2010.
