eMu has put several Smithsonian Folkways Blues albums on sale for 8 credits.

Any recs?

    I am no blues expert, but if you don't have any Bill Broonzy you need some. There are two late albums, "Folk Songs" and "Trouble in Mind," that are great..."Folk Songs" is one of the 8s. I also love "The Young Bill Broonzy."

    I just picked up Free and Equal. The booklets for these recordings can be downloaded as pdf from the Folkways website.

    I also love Sonny Terry's harp. Worth checking out if you haven't any other McGhee and Terry.

    Thanks for the pointer, although a couple of the sale items I already had (Dave Van Ronk and Rev. Gary Davis, bot I highly recommend, especially at 8 credits!) I grabbed one collection, hopefully the sale hangs around long enough that my account recycles.
