something i found gathering dust in my sfl file

after clicking on 120 pages of recent addition "rock/pop" titles and coming away feeling like i had wasted 30 minutes of my life flipping through a Best Buy bargain bin, i decided to dig through my sfl file.... praise the holies for the person who recommended "xMarsx" a few months ago.(sorry can't link at work) this Wayne Kramer-Mars Williams collaboration taps into several needs of my current foot: moving jazz and reaching rock that is not afraid to cover itself in funk and howl at the moon.

this is the kind of stuff i will be focusing on from emusic.
need more suggestions, please.

    Nels Cline's work fits the general bill, and I have not forgotten my promise to dig up 5 rockin' tracks for you. But in the meantime, in that direction I bet you would like this:
