Anybody else grab this album when it dropped last week? After listening to the samples I grabbed their first album, the EP, and a bi-side and then the new one. It's like psychedelic post-rock, but with all of the pretense dropped and replaced with joy. That almost certainly sounds hokey, but sometimes you get reminded of why you love listening to music from a completely unexpected source. These guys are fun and exciting. Had I realized it before grabbing them all from Amie Street I probably would have plunked down the money to get the albums in FLAC "directly" from the band.
They describe their music as "everyone high-fiving everyone". Awesome.
