    I just added them. I'm actually going through and trying to follow bands I really like and organize them all under a music-only list.

    What does putting them in lists do?

    With twitter, facebook, email, etc., I get so much of the same information over and over. I don't really know how to organized anymore.

    I'm just trying it out myself - it let's you organize who you follow so that everything doesn't get garbled up with the heavier Twitter users. My close friends only post to Twitter a few times a day while other people (like that freak John Mayer) clutter up the stream. So I have a private friends list that I can pull up and make sure I didn't miss anything of theirs. Then I've got a music list and I'll probably start one for bloggers and other interests.

    I also use TweetDeck to access Twitter and Facebook - it lets me post to both simultaneously. Now I can organize each list into it's own column and switch between them easily. Takes some getting used to, but I'm slowly getting it to the point that I don't feel overwhelmed. :)
