has anyone done the unthinkable? namely convert a big black recording to a digital format.

i'm just sayin'...

    i did. i had rich man's eight track and i ripped the hell out of it. i think i did it at 128k to, just for the principle of it. never quite saw what made big black so much better than the billion and a half artists who do allow digital distribution. not that i have anything against decent sound but if it's not worth listening to in a crap format then why am i bothering with it?
