Dar Williams

For any Dar Williams fans, there seems to be some kind of unadvertised (at least to me) sale on her releases at eMu - I picked a couple of albums up for 9 credits, and was able to Complete My Album for nothing on some releases I had older downloads from before Razor & Tie did one of those distribution switcheroos and I had to individually add tracks because I didn't have any credit for the older downloads - newer refreshed tracks have a higher bitrate BTW. There was a new release last week of hers called Many Great Companions that seems to be a career comp or something - perhaps hence the discounted albums.

I have since gathered that Disc 1 is a reinterpreted collection of songs with guests, and Disc 2 a career span type thing.

    The new double-CD is actually cheaper than the mp3's on Amazon.

    I hate when that happens!
    This thread inspired me to put several older Dar Williams albums on my iPod: Mortal City, My Better Self, and The Honesty Room.
