Someone posted about Beethoven's Complete 9 Symphonies by Josef Krips and the London Symphony Orchestra over at eMu, $5.99. Does anyone remember if that's the one that was on ?Amie this year? I downloaded something but it was consigned to the hard drive at home immediately because of space necessity.

    It's on Gramercy, so it likely was available at Amie.

    I've always consider the first nine to be over-the-top, mewling, arch, self-concious displays of sensitivity on parade by an over-rated dilettante, especially the one with the choir.

    That said, he did got better later on....

    Yep, the Krips was the one - I think it was either free or dirt cheap on Amie at the the time - made a foray into the hard drive, also to retrieve some Xmas music for the season.
