Saw Pavlov's Dog live in Melbourne on Saturday night (see "Rolling How Was The Show Thread"). Their tour is in honour of the 50th anniversary of the release of their first album, "Pampered Menial".
The best known song on the album is "Julia" which was also released as a single.
@Plong42 Also thanks from me, good that The Tooth (did anyone call them that?) have their albums up on Bandcamp. I only know the album with Pierre Henry, so it was nice to have a groove to the first album yesterday. I think one or two might find themselves slipping into the collection.
For Random Radio, I use a list of "Inspirations" that I subject to chance operations. For the Nov. 19th show, emusers was used as the stimulus - and, in this case, I just worked backwards from this, "What Are You Listening To..." thread as the spark or the rolling ball that you follow and guide a bit as it rolls along.
Anyway, you can follow along if you care to at this link. Tunes are announced on the show, but you'll have to wait until after the show airs to actually see them in a list. Also, it's Philip Catherine's 83rd birthday today and he's featured in the set too. Prog guys here should be interested, I think.
