Feeling left out

edited May 2011 in General
Ok so I recently left emusic b/c of all the changes. Prior to leaving i had watched all the folk preen about how emusic tried to woo them back. When i left I thought I too would one day be wooed, alas it was not to be.

Not that I would have accepted or anything. I just feel left out. You'd think after 9 years... Oh well...

  • discokvn - me, neither. I was a continuous member since 2005 until the end of March. I've never got any offer to woo me back, either. Except if I go to emusic and sign in under my old account, there is the standard .99 offer to rejoin for the first month of the basic $11.99 subscription. I don't know how these people have been getting more than that standard
  • discokvn, try logging in at emusic.

That $.99 for one month of $11.99 is the only offer I got, and it's really a pretty good offer.
  • discokvn, you can be part of my club. I've tried logging back into several old accounts and don't even get the 99 cent offer. They are happy that I left and can no longer re-download my old purchases... wait a sec.
  • it HAS to be in your email folder somewhere. i get one every 2 weeks. my favorite one was something to the effect "are you trying to break up with us?" good seeing you in these parts.

    clink.
  • I have only gotten 4 emails since I quit in 2009. The first one was early April 2011. Otherwise it's just the offer I see every day when I log in to get the daily freebie.
  • Wanting to be wooed is a fatal element of the woo-factor. Wooability is all about not caring if one is wooed.

I should know. I totally slutted it up with emu the moment they sent me one of those .99 gets you $12 offers.

I know it already. When I eventually leave emusic after the majors arrive in Europe and prices go up and I loose my grandfathered plan, I'll get no incentives to stay on or return. I just know I am one of those people who will get no incentives.... About a week or so after I jioned emusic their introductory offer of 25 free downloads went to 50 free downloads! I'll be just like Disockvn
  • @ greg: careful...see where predicting your own future got the bastard son in the bros. karamazov.

    i'm just sayin'...
  • @greg, ah, predicting failure, great British pastime.
  • @germanprof - of course!!
  • well, i logged in and nothing... less than dust, no $.99 offer, and i've checked junk e-mail, not there...

i guess wanting to be wooed, i'm ignored...
  • oh and thanks brittleblood for the welcome
