amc - I have and thoroughly enjoy it. Very dancey. The Chicago hip hop scene is just exploding with styles the last few years.
…New Pornos are a great live band. I was lucky enough to catch them last fall with both Neko and Dan, and am dang glad I did (Neko is so great), but I can believe the band wouldn't lose that much without them.
Torche was last night. Holy…Sweet! Won tickets to see Torche on Sunday. That'll be a good way to wrap up the weekend.
A couple other recent shows:
Death Grips: No opener, they took the stage, started playing and didn't stop for nearly an hour and a half…I can't freaking wait for the pass next week. Not necessarily because I love Pluto, but just because we don't have any good close ups of it yet. I want to see what it actually looks like, and I want to see the two small moons/rocks too.
