I've been saving all my images to the MiG platform.

Gah! I had not seen that before.
Matthew Weiner tends to use real events or at least refer to them for his fictional ad campaigns. The Stones storyline from this weekend was triggered by a desire by "Heinz" to appeal to the younger gen… -
I think I got everything, kez. Let me know if not.
Craig -
Awesome, thanks Doofy. Yet they wouldn't do "Heinz is on your side" for Don Draper.

Man, this thread is really brain my damaging. I read GP's post before he edited it and thought amclark2 was a bit confused to say the same thing. Then saw GP's post was different and briefly considered the possibility that I imagined the initial p…

Doofy - Are you actually M.C. Escher? That photo is giving me vertigo.
Craig -
Very nice BN! I need to see Denmark some day.

Today's deal of the day costs $5.99 for a single disc album. Wow, some deal.
Craig -
It's currently June 1966, so I thought the references were spot on.
Craig -
I'll have you know didgeridoo is a family name, and no one speaks ill of Didgeridoo McManus!
I expect your apology in due course, lest more drastic steps be taken.
Craig -
Anyone have any didgeridoo music? There's apparently a famous performer who has the same name as my son, but I can't find his music anywhere!

Sweet. Thanks Doofy. I'd been meaning to grab the new School of Seven Bells before it went off the $5 list at the end of the month, and this code needs to be used by April 1, so it worked perfectly for me.

Craig -
To be fair it does say "(mostly) acoustic". Seems like cheating to me, but at least they qualify it a bit.
Craig -
I should have specified "the greatest YouTube clip you'll see this week (non-kitten division)". Obviously kittens make the competition unfair.
Although BN's videos are pretty entertaining.
Craig -

Lots of 70's glam for me today.

choiceweb - Yeah, I knew it had been a long time, but my wife pointed out last week that our son wasn't even born yet when the last new episode aired and he's 17 months old!

GP - Cooler here today too. A much more normal upper thirties/lower forties. Supposed to warm back up as the week goes on though.

greg - We've had the same weather in Minnesota. I actually did wear shorts a couple times about a week and a half ago because it got into the 80s.

It was an excellent episode, especially for a season premiere. The early season episodes of that show are always a bit slow as Weiner builds to a climax, but this one had a surprising amount of things going on: SPOILERS: The race issue will interes…

As one of the local hip hop fans, I'll have to check it out BN! Although foreign language rap is always a bit of a mixed bag, what with the lyrics being extra important in rap.
Craig -
That would work for me as well GP.
Perhaps I'll do a Dispatches from Funkytown highlighting the local independent record stores (of which there are a surprising amount left).
Craig -
MiG Staff article idea: I was at my favorite record store yesterday, thought back to jonahpwll's posts about brick and mortar, and realized that with Record Store Day next month (the 21st I believe) we should do a joint article about our favorite st…

GP - I read that one last year, and was not a fan. Hawking's A Brief History of Time is fantastic. That one...not so much.

Got the same e-mail GP.
