Hi Rod, I've been listening to both versions of the death and resurrection of Christ that you sent me. Thanks again for that and indeed the rather splendid Penderecki at 80 collection. Reason for the mail is that I can't seem to find any details online regarding the version conducted by the man himself. Do you have any? Just my curiosity is all. Hope all is well. Best Dave H.

All that wracking my poor old brainz regarding matters 23 had me feeling that I was missing something obvious. And I was, namely Roger Waters cynical appropriation of Psalm 23. Animals I went out and bought because I thought punk had sold out a…(Quote)
Yep I guess I could have parked that over here as well as on the Flash Sales page.
Given that I shared the Confront 24 hour sale I thought I'd use the opportunity to buy this IST "box set" that I'd had my eye on for a while. About three hours of very inventive music and a great history of this group.
24 hours only from my pal Mark Wastell of cello and percussion etc "fame". Lovely bl…
Something new to me but already nearly a year old

As good or better than what I was wrestling with.I spent all yesterday trying to work 23 Skidoo into something punchy especially since on my first visit to NYC yeras ago I visited the Flatiron building probably under the influence of Robert Anton Wilson and his great Illuminatii jape.
@jonahpwll Thanks for the reminder about Three or Four Shades I really like late period Mingus but that one tends to get overlooked. And the hits just keep on comming RIP Martin Duffy Felt & Primal ScreamThis one is hitting a lot of my friends very hard, that'll be because most of them were of an age for 2-Tone and now of course are a similar age to Terry Hall. It's an obvious choice but Ghost Town just perfectly summed up the mess that was post ind…(Quote)

Hmm I didn't see the currently playing feature yesterday I'll give it another spin. You got 1.5 listens out of me thanks to my remembering I could play it through the living room hi-fi and not just my office laptop set up. Bonus!
Glad to see that you decided to leap back into the fray. Will you have full track lists easy to hand at some point? In any event an intriguing start! [Hadn't realised you were doing this as a real radio show with back announcements - track list woul…(Quote)

That album, er, opens with Open My Eyes, despite amazing competition one of my favourite tracks on the original Nuggets compilation. 2m 45 seconds of pop perfection IMHO.
