Hi Rod, I've been listening to both versions of the death and resurrection of Christ that you sent me. Thanks again for that and indeed the rather splendid Penderecki at 80 collection. Reason for the mail is that I can't seem to find any details online regarding the version conducted by the man himself. Do you have any? Just my curiosity is all. Hope all is well. Best Dave H.

My eyes won't focus this morning so I'll give you this! ;-)(Quote) That's a nice subtle version. Have you heard any other Zeitkratzer covers, Metal Machine Music et al?I notice a February sale has kicked in for titles that under-performed during 2016 ;-)(Quote) Ah I see it's just that there was almost nothing in the Select part of the shop when I looked. Any recent faves (not select obv.)?(Quote) Am I correct in thinking that the Mosaic project is over and done? I haven't bought anything in a couple of years. The Select series was especially fine.
Just from visual clues and my own very denuded vinyl collection I go with 5K. No way are there 200 lps in each of those alcoves. Given that anyone can buy vinyl by the yard and I appreciate most of that will be quality. If the same shelving goes aro…(Quote) Picked up a copy of My Life In CIA, so if my mind is perverted my lawyers will be sending you a Thank You letter.Anyone got an email today about a survey connected with the future of Emu - esp. regarding your downloads vs streaming habits, mobile application etc? I have obviously given them too much money recently.in Well that may be the end of eMu for me. Comment by djh February 2017
(Quote) Considering I'm a big fan of Nat Birchall and I'm fascinated by Akhenaten - why don't I have this record eh? taken-eye-off-ball syndrome possibly.

(Quote)I was wondering whether or not to mention those stats. For me 473 artists (average 151) and ahem songs 4846 (average 567). The use of the phrase "fans in your community" gave me a laugh. Oh and "Your 2016 anthem: No More In Thrall: …(Quote) Heh Heh made the same joke myself when I discovered this version recently. The Six Pianos is a beaut as well.(Quote) Is this the same series as the Chinese cd? Listened to some of that yesterday, v. interesting.
I splurge on Amazon for cds once in a while. I also still buy enough when I visit Sounds of the Universe to be given freebies; but it's nothing like the habit I used to have, then again London is almost a desert for music shops (except for the johnn…(Quote) I see 181 tracks for £7.99GBP on the amazon.co.uk listing for the Brilliant Classics box, Italian Baroque - The Instrumental Edition, not sure if that's all 50 cds. It would seem like a no-brainer BUT BUT BUT it doesn't label a…The last thing I read on my pc last night before heading off to la-la land was that Jaki Liebezeit had left us. What a s**ty way to start a Monday morning. Gordon Kaye's atrocious mock French accent is now also a thing of the past. I'm sure there is…
