Ta, I already have bought a new domain (this .net one), we'll deal with that later though.

I might give it to about mid-week before I start figuring out how to fix the broken image links if I haven't heard from @xtrev before then. In theory it'll be reversible.

They're totally unrelated. Emusers comes from the inadequacy of the emusic forums, when they were a thing, but isn't connected in any way other than that.

Where do you see that? -
Oh, the reason the response has changed on the URL is because the DNS provider has noticed the expiry and redirected it to their own landing page for a grace period. This is normal. It might be they release it in some amount of time, but I think the…

(Quote)There is hope, this is solvable. It's fairly invasive so I'm putting it off until we're sure it's necessary (it'll involve doing a large search/replace operation on the database.)(Quote) OK, moved some stuff and now that should stop happening.
Ah yeah ignore that. The disk is actually full, but I have space to shuffle things around and hope to do that in a day or two. Cheers for the heads-up though. Thanks all you're pretty much on the right scale.ThanksCool, let me know. There's no rush (unless an unexpected tropical island migration happens tomorrow.) The domain is held by @xtrev so that can be moved should it be necessary.…Also, biannual reminder that the bus factor for this site is currently 1. If something happens to me a a gruesome thrown off my bike by a tram into a canal type accident, this forum will eventually stop working, once the credit card company and…(Quote) Well, aside from having to upgrade some system stuff too for the new version, that was concerningly easy, and there are surprisingly few visible changes at a glance.
New version time. Note that this is a major upgrade (2.8 to 3.2) so you can expect that there'll be visible changes. Hopefully do this over the next half hour or so.
(Quote) I did notice in the section I know anything about, the genres were reduced, but there seemed to be more samples per genre. ymmv though.
My hosting provider appeared to have a glitch and the server fell off the internet until I figured out what was up and raised a ticket with them. Seems to be happy now though.
(Quote) Had a go making the better search work again, but for no reason I could figure out I couldn't make it return any results at all. I'll give it another go when I get time again.
ah yeah, the old search broke a while back and the built in one is a bit crap. But, I think I saw something about how to make it work again so let me give that a go, hopefully in the weekend. Either that or maybe it can be replaced with a google sea…(Quote)I can't tell you anything about dimensions, because it doesn't appear to be documented. As such, perhaps it doesn't matter too much. As for words, just distil the conversations here into a short pithy phrase. Easy! in What are you listening to right now? (17 Seconds of Cicadas) Comment by eythian April 2019(Quote)No, but the old version was unsupported and at risk of security issues, so I upgraded it and it came with a new theme. There are a handful of built-in themes and then variants within those themes available, including looking like…(Quote)Yep, exactly. It's using the absolute stock theme which is a bit boring. Happy to help with changing this sort of thing, but it's not up to me to decide how you want it to look in What are you listening to right now? (17 Seconds of Cicadas) Comment by eythian April 2019By react I mean Facebook style likes, or similar.I'm not sure. A brief search suggested people can react to posts and it counts them or something, but I couldn't immediately see that function. Maybe the mods can enable that if so desired, or hide it with CSS.PS: if anyone out there is a designer type, the forum has the unused facility for banners and such. Or maybe you like the minimalist form …Well, that looks fresh and new! Everything seems happy at first glance. Of course, let me know if something seems broken.
OK, phase 1: the database has been moved and there's now a reasonable amount of free space on the server. Now to retry the upgrade...
OK, going to try this again soon. There will be downtime. Hopefully not long.
Ah yes, that'll definitely be related. I managed to free up a little space so maybe that'll stop happening. But really it needs me to move where the database lives, which is probably only half an hour's work, all going well. Will keep you posted.
y'all made me want to check out my saved-for-later list. It shows two albums (I feel like there was maybe 10-12 when I quit), but for both of the remaining, when I click on them it tell me that they're unavailable. Glad I deserted the sinking shop w…
