(Image) I'm following Confused, thanks for the reminder

Since I last looked at this thread, so many album covers that take me way back. CSNY 4 Way Street was one I used to play incesantly. I haven't got it as a digital version, but I still play the other two. Other memories include that Beach Boys compil…

Good to see Curved Air above. I saw them probably 1971 at a cinema in Chester. We hitch hiked from Wrexham, but had to get the bus back!! Brilliant band. Francis Monkman went on to be in this band with John Williams. (Image)

(Image) Version 1 with Al Kooper, in my view the best version of the band

You are mostly messing everyone, randomly inducing new gyrations

@peterfrederics - The Beano Bluesbreakers album, an all time favourite for me, right back to its original release, one of my first LP purchases when in the Sixth Form

(Image) Thanks for the introduction Lowlife, like you I am streaming. I looked at Bandcamp £9.99, but at Amazon £7.95. I don't understand such pricing policy. I'd buy at say £5 to 6, but not much higher for something I may only play a few times, i…

I still play most of the above. I'm going to add this one into the mix (Image)

Seeing all those Dylan covers takes me back! We put our TV on to watch something on Netflix last night. The last station we'd had on was BBC News. We spent the evening watching events unfold, utterly amazed by what was going on (Image)

@Lowlife - Tapestry is one of my all time favourite albums, still play it very regularly
-
(Image) Another one I played a lot way back then. As a student I couldn't afford to buy full albums. This was the way to hear a range of rock music - no streaming then!!
-
@confused - yes I saw him play probably around 1970 as a solo artist and then again a couple of times with Pentangle, again early 1970s
-
Peterfrederics - I still have that Rock Machine LP somewhere> wish I could get a CD or even a download!
-
Others include (Image) (Image) I'm sure I'll add more! I'm still playing all of thee regularly

Before scrolling down the list I'd already decided that this would be a key one (Image) I've got an LP, a CD, a de-luxe double CD and the Live Concert CD! (I do not recommend the last of these!)
-
(Image) @confused - we had a different cover in the UK! But I am glad of the prompt to play it!

Today's Paste newsletter has a list of the top 25 albums of 1970, ie 50 years ago. I own over half of them and still play 6 or 7 regularly. What dies that say about me?

Yesterday only Norman described erratic rocks

(Quote) The only one I have is the Nubya Garcia - an amazing London based saxoponist. I've heard of a handful more - the obvious ones. In the past I was prepared to have a go with new to me music with eMusic. It wasn't that costly, even if I only pl…
