Seeing a John Coltrane video that Doofy has posted made me search out some John Coltrane, starting with one of my favourites - Blue Trane

I agree bremble, I am wondering about being one of the early changers. Several albums are available that I'd like on the old site but not the new! Along with that is the price increase (As I've said before I am not worried about that, as it has not …

Now I might try that, thanks Jonahpwll.

Now that emusic have announced the end is nigh for their Message Board, could someone who can still access it (I can't any longer as I am part of the Beta group) put out a message publicising Emusers. We might pick up a few more members. I've just l…

Eythian - my understanding is that they will not be using a downloaded as such, and so you get a zip file. I may be wrong, so others do please correct me....

That's my hope too Doofy. Several recent jazz releases are on the original site but not the beta site, but there seems to be an increase in indie etc. Like you I am hoping jazz will improve.

Bad news BN, today it is 68 in the UK! The following, which I am sure you have seen, could be an indicator that some things may not make the move:

I haven't received that email, maybe because I am in the pilot already. I'll be glad when it is complete so that the whole catalogue is available.Good to see that Domino is coming back

Having read a review of Christian Scott's new album Ruler Rebel I searched for it on the Beta site, not there. I've just been to the old site to get an album cover image, and at the top of the front page is the album I was looking for, released in M…

Those of us who opted to go live on the new site are stuck. I can obviously see the old site but I am unable to log-in. I can't for example contribute to the message board there, although I can read it. The word from Matt there is

Yes, I was doing several albums one after another and I see the point that individually it probably doesn't add too much time. Our broadband speed is not too bad, although not superfast.

Has anyone else downloaded from the Beta site. So far all my purchases have gone into My Music on the site. I've just started downloading, but it is taking for ever, and they are downloading as Zip files, which then need converting. The whole proces…

Yes, as PaulR says the initial beta was only priced in $ and on a different basis, so that album prices did not relate on a one for one basis to track prices, which is what we have. So it gave no indication of how prices would be outside the USA. I …

GP - yes we did have a choice and I opted in. My point is that we were not told that by opting into the beta we would have a price increase compared with those who stayed with the old site. Emusic is still very good value, but it would have been goo…

Indeed, now £46.65!
I don't object too much to the price per track going up, it is after all still a good deal, but I do think in this supposedly new open world of emusic, it should not have been left to those in the beta trial to …

Prices are as follows BN:

That's very interesting BN. When I click on your link I get the UK pricing model of 49p per track, so the example you give is £2.45 for me. Every track on all albums I have looked at is still 49p. Earlier today I was looking at a 25 track double alb…

Van Morrison - Philosopher's StoneI must admit that I have been thinking about my emusic membership for a while, as many on these boards will know. I decided I would give the new site a go to see if it is any better than previously. A 16% price increase, which is what it actually wo…Yes I am paying £19.99 for 100 tracks. Their response was:
The increase in track prices is unrelated to subscription prices. There will be no change to subscription prices to reflect the increase in track prices. Subscript…
The Skiffle Sessions - Van Morrison and Lonnie DoneganI've had a reply from emusic. Yes UK prices have gone up from 42p per track to 49p per track which means my grandfathered plan reduces from 100 tracks per month to 85 tracks. Probably reflects the worsening exchange rate post the Brexit vote!I've got 14, BN! I've been using the label search this morning
