Thanks for your comments and totally understand what it’s like to be so busy! Really glad that emusers is here for the long term. I likewise listen to many of your tips and often for similar reasons. That is, to my mind, what makes this group so great to belong to.

And on the subject of Psychedelia, how about this one! Just like Solid Sun album (see above), it could have come from the late 60s but in fact was released in 2015.

Really belongs over on the "Progressive Rock on eMusic" stream but I'm enjoying it so much that I thought it should go here too!

@omnifoo Thanks and that's a great mix. And yes, please do include Psychedelia. I have always believed in the broadest of definitions for Progressive Rock.…@omnifoo Thanks for the list and that's another 25 albums on my Wish List!
“Revelations of the Flowermind” by Solid Sun. Obscure but great Progressive Rock album that sounds if it so easily could have been made in the late 60s or early 70s but in fact was released in 2015. Try the track “Distance” first - outstanding!
@omnifoo I did indeed and both Austin TV and Arias are great bands. Thanks for the introduction.@Brighternow thanks for the tip on Folly Bololey and fancy the Robert Wyatt connection! Have you tried NSRO's "I a Moon"?in What are you listening to right now? (17 Seconds of Cicadas) Comment by peterfrederics August 2019
My eMusic discoveries shown over on the "Still on eMusic" discussion.
A really eclectic mix of Holy Sons, Mavis Staples, Sun City Girls, The Field Mice and Trembling Blue Stars.@rostasi just love Brainticket. Got their "Celestial Oceans", "Psychonaut" and "Cottonwoodhill" albums on eMusic back in 2011.It's been a great day for finding treasures on eMusic! Two bands that are again an acquired taste but that I like a lot and are well represented on eMusic.
The Field Mice and their successor band, Trembling Blue Stars.
Mavis Staples "Have A Little Faith" on the mighty Alligator label.

Sun City Girls - great band if a bit of an acquired taste. However, if you really like them then you are in luck - 27 of their albums on eMusic including some of their best. Start with "Torch of the Mystics" - rated tops by All Music Guide.
"Criminal Return" by Holy Sons is another excellent rock album still on eMusic. Holy Sons is Emil Amos who plays in one of my favourite progressive rock bands - Grails (a great eMusic discovery from a few years back).
If you want to try …Thanks @idiotprogrammer and @omnifoo. Clubbing together we are still finding some gems! My latest i…The Physics House Band is one of the best bands still on eMusic, particularly if you are into progressive/psychedelic/experimental rock and excellent musicianship (see the All Music Guide link below). Try any of their albums but the best one to star…Have a look at @omnifoo and others post on "What I bought from eMusic last month". Has led me to more than 50 extra albums on my Wish List.WISH LIST - WORLD

@omnifoo great list that has enabled me to add a whole lot of extra albums to my Wish List.
It would be great if all of us who are still on eMusic could followNeed to move quickly on all of these. Only 17 of the 30 albums from which I bought tracks in April are still available! And only 13 out of 30 in May. However, funnily enough, 25 out of 33 albums that I bought tracks from in March are still available…Still good albums on eMusic although you have to search really hard for them these days and follow up great tips from other emusers (see above on this feed and @omnifoo andMy additions to what's still available would be "First Word Music", "The Band Aid Trust", "Concert Live", "Fable Records", "HHO", "Jur/Starwood Media", "nagel heyer records", "Tramp Records", "ESP-Disk", "Audio Cave", "Roaratorio", "Important Record…@omnifoo thanks for that. Since "Red Bullet" departed a few weeks back, I haven't been able to find any prog!
My additions to what's still available and worth looking …As has "Cult Legends" which recently had 25 to 30 of the eMusic top 100! And "Red Bullett", home to Dutch 60s prog rock legends such as Supersister, Alquin and Focus. Those three bands being my best eMusic finds of 2019.@omnifoo Thanks very much for this excellent summary of what is still available. Very much appreciated! By the way, have you seen and good prog rock labels that are still around?"Seriously, Eric? #1234567" - a seven album sampler for the Alter K label.
