If you are into Hard/Stoner Rock (an acquired taste!?) then the album "The Last Embrace" by Spirit Caravan is a pretty good example.

The Fort Mudge Memorial Dump s/t album from 1970. Heavy Psych Rock that reminds me of a heady mix of Jefferson Airplane and The Doors. Well worth a listen. Try "Crystal Forms" below, one of the best tracks on the album.

Steven Wilson, leader of my favourite modern Progressive Rock band Porcupine Tree, has recently been involved in the release of a restored version of Pink Floyd’s classic film "Pink Floyd at Pompeii". The soundtrack of the film with Steven's new aud…"Empty Promises" by Christone "Kingfish" Ingram is very close to being on a par with the exceptional Michael Burks original. I saw Christone live at the Byron Bay Bluesfest last month - very impressive.

Gary Clark Jr.'s live album. This outstanding blues guitarist was my favourite performer at the Byron Bay Bluesfest over Easter this year.
