    After All s/t album, which All Music describes as being "Quite Wonderful". Unusual music which is a great listen and  reminds me somewhat of Procol Harum. Plus the strange album cover!

    Pan s/t 1970 album, a mix of Progressive and Hard Rock. The best track is "Lady of the Sand", particularly the guitar solo in the second half.

    Assumed I already had this as a cd re-issue, apparently not, (sad face) great sax and keys lead heavy German prog / proto-Kraut.

    @djh thanks for the reminder of that great band Out of Focus. Haven't played music of theirs for a long time

    Two other albums of theirs that I really like are "Four Letter Monday Afternoon" and "Not Too Late"

    @peterfrederics Hi Der! Yep I got both of those from Los Bros Freeman at Ultima Thule when they came out on cd. "Four Letter..." is especially tasty and was my introduction.
    This one is also more than worth a listen despite the rather "of it's time" name of the first track. Wake Up Primary 1 of 4

    Possibly the ultimate in obscure, this s/t album by the French band Instant was recorded in 1978 and recently released on the Guerssen label on Bandcamp (link below). I can't find mention of it anywhere else other than on the Guerssen Bandcamp site itself. 

    For me, it ranks close to the best of 1970s era Progressive Rock being a heady mix of prog, zuehl and jazz rock. Interestingly the band reassembled and re-recorded all the tracks which means that the album contains both the 1978 and 2022 versions.

    Well it is certainly new to me and appears to have slipped past the Freeman Brothers, no mention that I can find in their Twilight of the Alchemists book. Makes a doubting Thomas like me wonder if it  is genuine? Regardless thanks for the heads up I'm listening now. Why the re-recordings I wonder?
