Thanks for your comments and totally understand what it’s like to be so busy! Really glad that emusers is here for the long term. I likewise listen to many of your tips and often for similar reasons. That is, to my mind, what makes this group so great to belong to.

Does having 62 of Germanprof's list of the 100 greatest prog songs (source Prog magazine - see below) make me a true prog rock tragic!?
I’m rather fond of Red Bullet which includes some great 1970s era Dutch rock e.g. Focus, Supersister, Alquin, Golden Earring, Earth & Fire (no Wind!) and Shocking Blue plus some of the usual, pretty ordinary stuff.
Thanks Brighternow and Plong42. Two excellent lists!Supersister - rated by Progarchives as the top Dutch 1970s Progressive Rock band with the closest comparison being the Canterbury sound of Caravan and Soft Machine.
Although not well known, Progarchives and Discogs rate their albums on a…Supersister - rated by Progarchives as the top Dutch 1970s Progressive Rock band and one of the top globally. eMusic has their best albums including "Present from Nancy", "To the Highest Bidder" and "Pudding en Gisteren".
in Still on eMusic Comment by peterfrederics February 2019For those of you who like early 70s Krautrock, the label OHR is well worth a listen. There are albums by Witthuser & Westrupp, Annexus Quam, Birthcontrol, Mythos, Walpurgis, Floh de Cologne, Guru Guru and Broselmaschine.
Almost becoming a game, trying to find good things still on eMusic! But they are out there!
Today's one is 17 albums by Ani Difranco.

The Cat Empire is one of the best and most eclectic Australian bands combining a number of styles, including funk, jazz, and ska. There are still 25 albums on eMusic. I would suggest starting with the early albums "The Cat Empire" and "Two Shoes".Luddite, never come across them before and I really like the album. Interesting story about Gifford Pinchot too. Obscure is certainly the word!Eleven Wire albums still on eMusic including:
* early classics, "Pink Flag", "Chairs Missing" and "154" and;
* the five most recent albums, "Red Barked Tree", "Change Becomes Us", "Wire", "Nocturnal Koreans" and "Silver/Lead"eMusic still has 11 Wire albums (including Pink Flag, Chairs Missing and 154) plus numerous singles. That's a pleasant surprise!
https://www.emusic.com/artist/rs_450/Wire<…Me too, Germanprof. I really like one of his very early (1970) albums (not solo), "Nation Time" on eMusic at $2.49.
