Here are a few eMu responses on this matter:
"In the update between the old eMusic website and the new one, there was an exchange in the library of available content. As such, there may be …

Sample Times. I just checked a bunch of cuts - everyone less than 2:30 had a 30-second sample, those longer had a 1:01 sample. Hmmmmm
-
Bonus!

I won't be spending $8.49 for a digital DL. I'll pay $8-12 for the CD. Cheers
-
I'm at about 15 pages - a fraction of what I recall - I did request a copy of my complete download history which I hope is being assembled.
-
To Mugsy's note above - I was initially quite pleased at the prospect of re-downloading old files at 320, but that doesn't seem to be the case for several of the files I downloaded today. Anyone know if this is the case site-wide??
-
I'm back to 30 sec samples in the US
-
I've been having a great time re-downloading early purchases that were at a low bit rate. Happy with that!
-
thanks for the reddit overview!
-
OK, old man river here ... I need to understand what reddit is - can someone 'splain??
-
I actually prefer to save the zip folders as my back-up. At some point there will be a 3 DL limit, but as distributers change, I prefer to have copies of everything.
-
Agree with concerns about increased prices (also here in the US). Some things are cheaper and the good news is that everything is ripped at 320. So we got that going for us!

Brighternow - I found 72 titles listed for Innova. Right now the only way I could find to search …
-
I was able to search by label. My 1st few purchases downloaded a bit slowly, but the 3rd was almost instantaneous.
-
One thought I had about what's on the new site versus not could be the bit rate available. I got one note on the FB page stating that everything on the new site will be 320 bpm. Perhaps some of the older, lower bit rate material won't be available…

I wasn't very familiar with this band, but have really enjoyed this set - check it out!
-
I noticed the same issue last night and agree it didn't seem that way earlier.

Interesting night in a small industrial space outside of Boston last night. Audrey Ryan (with some amazing looping), Land of Enchantment, LuxDeluxe and Hallelujah the Hills (final get to see them live). Get home at 2AM only to see the clock jumpin…

Thanks Matt!

Nice concept - I just never seem to "trim back". I did, however, just get rid of an old stereo receiver that hasn't worked for over a decade - does that count???
-
Always in favor of owning (10,000+ and counting plus lost more digital). Also love my local library system. I use it to update old and scratched LPs and try new things I wouldn't ordinarily buy. So much music ..... so little time. Cheers!
-
The lovely and talented Sharon Jones will surely be missed.
-
I was at last night's EC show in Boston also - I only stayed for the 1st third of the show so I could say I've seen 33 1/3 Elvis shows (but then I went right back in!). Another fun set. Going for 45.
-
Off to see Sloan tonight in Boston - One Chord to Another tour. Details to follow!
-
First time I saw him solo was around 1999 - I had goosebumps. Last time was a year or so ago (with Rodriguez opening). A few less goosebumps, but still awesome. Glad you got to see him.
-
First time seeing Brian live??
-
Nada Surf Monday night, Yo La Tengo tomorrow night. Not too shabby!
-
Dick Dale last night - 79 and still playing the beast. Always a treat!
-
this stuff's also available at eMu for even cheaper
-
and I will add that most of the new stuff that is added is at 320 bps - most of the older stuff is lower or variable.
